Creative Booth Displays
Though creativity is one of the key
ingredients to having a successful tradeshow presentation, you cannot
forget your business objectives when you are designing your display.
The more creative a tradeshow display booth is, the more likely it will
attract attention. However, creativity is usually restrained by budgets.
The creativeness of a tradeshow displays can be anything from a simple
modular display, which features a few colors and the corporate brand to
a custom-built multilevel booth designed with an interactive show, sound
and light stage, all based on budget.
Though creativity is one of the key ingredients to having a successful
tradeshow presentation, you cannot forget your business objectives when
you are designing your display. No matter how spectacular your lights,
sound and graphics are, if they do not related to your product, they
distract from it. Creativity doesn't necessary mean success. Consistency
in brand is a vital aspect of the consumer experience.
When planning your display, consider your consumers and the tradeshow
attendees you want to attract. Consider what would make them want to
visit your booth and what would make it special. Then use your
creativity in words, graphics, and in promotional giveaways to make your
booth a unique experience for your consumers.
However, keep in mind that creativity is often expensive. This doesn't
mean that if you are on a limited budget, you can't be creative. In
fact, there are plenty of tradeshow display companies who offer creative
and affordable design solutions. In creating a display booth, first you
have to know how you want to promote you company, and then do some
comparison-shopping. The Internet is a great place to start. There you
can view what several companies have to offer, see how they compare to
what you have in mind and how it correlates with your budget. With this
information, you are sure to find the right display provider for you.
A good display is creative and effective. Your display needs to draw in
the crowd and hold their attention long enough for you to relay your
message. Keep your display process flexible, if some part of your design
is not working, then do away with it and try something new. Perhaps you
need better signage, or a different giveaway. At many tradeshows that I
have attended, several booths used an interactive element such a prize
drawing. You have to figure out what works and what doesn't, then make
the necessary adjustments.
