Display equipment often times is the most expensive component of your exhibit. The type and size of the tradeshows that you attend will decide whether you should rent or purchase your equipment. Either way can be costly. One reason is money, the added cost of packaging, shipping, handling, electrical power required to operate your equipment, and the cost of labor to set-up/tear-down the display. All of these add to the cost of every show.

Another factor you have to consider is both your staff and guest experiences. If your staff feels more comfortable with company-owned equipment, then most defiantly take this into consideration. How they feel does affect their presentation. Your guest experience is vital to your tradeshow success. If you are a large corporation, you may wish to invest in a custom display with high-quality equipment in order to give your product the best possible exposure. However, if you are a smaller corporation then renting may be your best option.

How you storage your display is important. A durable, well-built tradeshow case is vital to the longevity of your display equipment. Many times tradeshow equipment is damaged during storage and not during transportation, setting it up, or tearing it down. Ensure that your tradeshow cases can be proper secured to prevent tampering. In addition, it is wish to use large, bright colored labels to make your pieces. Label each box you're your company's name. You may also want to label the boxes with its content or with a number for easy identification.
