Tradeshow Flooring

When choosing flooring, keep in mind the amount of foot traffic you expect to see.

Tradeshow flooring is often a design element that is overlooked. Many simply use the standard carpet the tradeshow producers often provide free of charge, but unbelievably there are options. When choosing flooring, keep in mind the amount of foot traffic you expect to see. For heavy traffic, you might consider something that is durable, long lasting, and easily cleaned. For less traffic, something that is aesthetic, such as a carpet with your company name or logo imprinted would be the best option for you.

Another consideration in choosing your flooring is how it will feel standing on it all day. As a tradeshow staff member for many years, I often appreciated carpet because of the padding, which offered some shock absorption. After standing on your feet for at times upwards of twelve hours, hard flooring can result in tired feet. If your staff is not comfortable, then they cannot perform to the best of their ability. If you have a busy tradeshow schedule then invest in carpet with a little extra padding your staff, will thank you for it and so will those who visit your booth, after standing on a hard floor, their feet will appreciate the comfort you offer.

If you are on a limited budget and carpet is out of the question, but you still don't want employee fatigue then consider foam flooring. These pieces are available in many different colors and interlock like puzzle pieces. In addition to comfort, quality flooring adds to your display's appearance.
